Another Friday, another cute t-shirt. This week, I’m loving the Emo is Lamo T-Shirt from Culture Shift. I have a younger sister and she’s totally into the emo thing, so this shirt hits especially close to home. I’m not entirely sure what she’d think if I bought the Emo is Lamo t-shirt for her. She’d either love it or think I was making fun of her. Which I would be.
Check it out, Emo is Lamo:

It’s American Apparel, too, so you know you’re getting a decent shirt (even if the sizes are completely jacked up).

I used to think that ugly bridesmaid dresses were more of an 80s-early 90s kind of thing. I graduated high school, moved on to college, and later moved into a fabulous career. I forgot all about ugly dresses and just assumed that the rest of the world had, too.
Since I’ve moved back to the midwest, though, I realize that they are alive and well. Apprently, SOMEONE is still supplying them, and evil girls all throughout the corn belt are putting their bridesmaids through that kind of torture.
I just saw this post over at SheFinds, where they are collecting these traumatic tales. Have you ever been a victim of UBDS (that’s Ugly Bridesmaid Dress Syndrome, for those of you who have a hard time keeping up)? I’ve managed to avoid it so far, but I suspect that’s because so many of my friends aren’t married yet. The next few years could be tough.
Since it’s almost 90 degrees here in the midwest, I thought I’d cover some cute sundresses for the upcoming spring and summer dating season. We all know what tanned skin and a simple white dress can do to a man, so there’s no reason that every girl in the country shouldn’t have one of these bad boys in her closet.
The Serial Dater’s Choice:
This adorable strapless sundress
from Tracy Reese’s Plenty line is a little on the pricy side, but if you’re dating a lot, you’ll get your money’s worth. It’s casual but still very classy, so you could go to almost any restaurant and feel appropriately dressed.

Lovely and Laid Back:
For a more casual occasion, I’m loving this incredibly affordable
white sundress from Magazine.
There’s nothing like looking that good for less than $30.

On The Waterfront:
If you’re digging the seaside look, go for this adorable DKNY nautical sundress.
The slimming vertical stripes and bubble hem are sure to draw the eye of any man who’s ever so much as THOUGHT of taking up boating. I was a little skeptical at first, since I usually think of sundresses as airy and floral pieces, but this nautical sundress has definitely changed my mind.

Unless you work at a place like I do (home!), this shirt probably won’t make the cut for casual Fridays. Ultra sensitive types are bound to see it as juvenile or sexist. All the same, I think it’s cute. And of course, it’s SO true.
Girls Make Better Ninjas T-Shirt:

As usual, remember to order about a dozen sizes bigger than your usual. The underweight models on their site are wearing mediums and larges (what’s up with that, anyway??).

It seems like birds are pretty hot these days. Images of delicate songbirds are popping up everywhere - wall decals, dishes, paintings, and even t-shirts. I’ve been looking for a cute bird t-shirt for a while now, so I’m pleased to feature this one today:
The Bird on a Wire T-Shirt:

It’s a Palmer Cash shirt, so it’s bound to be a little on the expensive side (as t-shirts go), but worth every penny. I’ve never had a bad experience with Palmer Cash. My only beef with this t-shirt is that a different color would have made it even cuter.
It’s Friday, so you know what that means - another cute t-shirt at Fickle Food. This week, I’m loving the Mystify Screensaver T-Shirt.
Mystify Screensaver T-shirt:

Even if you’re a Mac person, you have to appreciate the cuteness of this shirt. The designers, Nerdy Shirts, say that it “prevents shirt burn-in”. It’s guaranteed to make cute nerds everywhere stare at your chest. Nothin wrong with that.
