If your friends and relatives are normal, you’ll have no problems getting the perfect gift every time. Just pick up any magazine or surf any blog and you’re sure to find something that’s just right. For the less traditional, however, you may have to look a little harder. That’s where the Little Joseph creepy doll head candle holder comes in.
At $79, it’s a little on the expensive side. Surely there is a cheaper way to use a baby’s head as a candleholder. There has to be. All the same, if you’re pressed for time and need a chilling gift, pair this with a couple of red candles and you’re bound to leave a lasting impression. The Little Joseph Candle Holder comes from GNR8.biz.
If your dad is a Grillmaster (and most are), he’ll probably like the motorized grill brush/ While most dads are forced to toil away for precious MINUTES, scrubbing their grills by hand the old-fashioned way, this year’s coolest dads will have a better alternative. Like domestic 007s, they can slyly take out their motorized grill brush and smoothly and casually clean the grill without spilling the martini in the other hand.
Remember - It’s not what you buy, it’s how it makes them feel.
Anyone who’s been through college knows that lavish, $20-30 Father’s Day gifts aren’t always possible. For those times, we recommend something like the Caffeine Coffee Mug. Unless your dad is a chemist, he’s probably never seen a caffeine molecule up close and personal. And of course, at $7.99, you’ll have plenty of money for things like book, food, and transportation (or bars, women, and dirty magazines, if that’s how you roll).
If you’re familiar with Demeter, you probably know that they’re generally known for their weird scents - stuff like earthworm, funeral home, cut grass, etc. What you might not know is that they also have a wonderful line of “normal” scents. One their summer standouts is the fairly new Kahala Pina Colada (coconut) cologne spray.
The nice thing about Demeter is that their fragrances are affordable (Kahala Pina Colada is $19), and nearly all of them are available in other forms like room spray or candles. If you won’t be able to make it to the beach as much as you’d like this summer, pick up a bottle of Kahala Pina Colada and the beach comes to you.
It’s been a while since we’ve looked at any t-shirts, but this Lionel Richie t shirt definitely warrants a mention. It’s another Palmer Cash piece, and it really doesn’t take much to “get” it. It has a picture of Lionel and the words “All Night Long.” That’s it. No “cowgirl” written backwards or anything tricky like that. Unfortunately, it looks like it’s only available in small and medium right now. Considering that they say it’s one of their new styles, let’s hope that changes.
If there are any types of gifts you’d especially like to see, just let us know. We come across a lot of neat products in our travels, but we only have time to post so many, so we have to pick and choose. If there’s something in particular that you like to see, let us know, and we’ll be sure to keep a special eye out just for those types of products.
Remember, we’re not mind readers. The more you tell us, the easier it is for us to bring you what you want.
Here’s another great Father’s Day gift I came across while doing a little shopping of my own. It’s the Wienie Dog Corn Holders Set. Right now, they’re on sale for just $8.99. Of course, you probably still have to pay $5-10 in shipping, but it’s not a bad deal, especially for a gift.
Over the next couple of weeks, we’ll be looking at some cool father’s day gifts. It’s coming up pretty quickly, but there’s still plenty of time to put in an order and get it shipped.
Personally, I like this Barbecue Salt & Pepper Shaker Set from Uncommon Goods. At just $20, it’s affordable for almost anyone.
