When I first heard the term bodystockings, I thought; it must be some kind of warm fuzzy tube that covers the body, rather like long underwear or a big toasty scarf. Wrong. Think fishnet panty hose for your entire body. Slinky hose that firmly adheres to every curve (bulge) of your figure. There has never been a point in my life…I have never been young enough, firm enough or brave enough to pull something like the bodystocking off, but if you can do do it, more power to you!

I can hardly wait for the weather to warm up and dry out. We’re hoping to complete the patio project we started last this summer. I can hardly wait to plan family get togethers out there! As it stands now we barely use the area, the mosquitoes usually carry us away!

Our television is in our bedroom and I’ve read that that’s a bad idea. That it’s unhealthy to associate the bedroom with anything other than sleeping or that other thing people do in bedrooms.
Trouble is, we usually fall asleep halfway through all but the most exciting movies and programs, and with our backs spending the night in a chair could mean not being able to walk for a couple of days. Lately, I’ve been thinking since we spend so much of our time in bed we should get one of those adjustable beds. Right after the shoes with velcro closures.
Wow, it’s really flooded here, the fields on either side of Rt. 40 look like lakes…some of the little side roads are completely under water! There are two roads a couple of blocks from my house that are partially underwater too…luckily we live on a rather high hill. My fish pond is up so high I half expect to come home and find goldfish all over the lawn! The ground simply can’t absorb anymore water. Most annoying, our basement is leaking, and our rent house basement is leaking as well…We really don’t need any more rain!
Thought I’d stay in tonight and watch TV, but there’s nothing on except the same old election crap I watched this morning and last night, and yesterday morning. I’m so sick of it all I could throw up…they just keep replaying the same nonsense, like they’re hoping to hypnotize us all with their stupidity. I’m almost looking forward to getting back to the latest starlet’s drunk driving arrest or stint in drug rehab…
We live in a small rural town in southern Illinois, definitely truck country. Trucks with huge wheels, dual tires and wide hips, trucks so high off the ground you need a stepladder to climb into the cab, trucks with bull bars, cow catchers and even testicles are not uncommon sights around these parts. Even the ladies drive trucks, I’ve seen pastel trucks, trucks with cutesy detail paint jobs, hot pink plush seats and PMS bumper stickers…but so far, thankfully, no ovaries dangling from the ball hitch…
We drive a mini van and have for years. We are so out of the loop,
but for a change, I don’t mind…
