I raised three girls, none of which were what you would call girlie-girls. They were more the crafty, engineer types. One year we gave one of our daughters a Barbie doll, a few days later I found that she had wrapped the doll in plaster of Paris gauze and painted Egyptian hieroglyphs on its mummified form…a thousand years from now some archaeologist will find it and think…Wha? I have heard tell, however, that girlie-girls do exist, so here are some adorable bracelets for the G.G’s.

OMGosh, did you ever see anything so CUTE?? Remember the Sky King from the 1930′s? Okay, well even I don’t remember those. These fabulous replicas are probably the closest most of us will ever get to owning a rare Sky King tricycle, especially with the originals going for $3000 and upwards! La Petite Femme Mini-Chandelier

I ran across this cute little La Petite Femme mini-chandelier on babyuniverse.com. And while yes, it would be very sweet in a baby’s room, I’m thinking…dressing closet. I have always coveted a large walk in dressing room, and I figure if you’re going to have something as decadent as a walk in closet, why not a chandelier? The chandelier has both glass and acrylic beads and dangles. It uses 3, 25 watt bulbs and measures 7 1/2 by 13 inches.

I realize that the Spot Dog Backpack by Little Packrats, is geared towards children. But my children are all grown and haven’t seen fit yet to provide me with any grandchildren…but that’s a whole other story. So I have dogs. Lots of dogs. Seven actually. I like to give each one their own special days, so we head for the walking trail near our home and halfway through it we’re both pretty worn out. These Spot backpacks would be great for carrying drinking water, a bowl, maybe a bottled water for me, along with other necessities, like plastic bags for poopy-doos…(be a trooper, bring your scooper!)
The backpack is black and white and purple vinyl for easy cleanup, (aforementioned poopy-doos) and has adjustable straps.
