Ugh. I’m starting to see bathing suits popping up in stores and I’m no where near ready to parade around a pool half-nekkid. I go through this every single year, around the end of February panic sets in and I start pricing exercise equipment, promising to hit the walking trail, maybe even join a sports team…if they even have sports teams for out of shape middle-aged women.
And every single year I fail to get into shape and have to fall back on camouflage…
No, not that kind of camouflage. While this camo swimsuit is cute, you’d have to be Victoria Secret model to pull it off.

Hand Wash or Dry Clean
Okay, there have been a couple of wrap dress postings on here and I just want to make sure that we’re all clear on the possible downsides of wrap dresses. While it’s an almost universally flattering and forgiving style, there’s always the chance that there’s just not enough wrap to your dress. When you’re in the fitting room (or when the package comes in the mail), make sure you try standing, sitting, and bending in a variety of positions to make sure that you’re not making some poor sap pen letters like this one:
And on another note - Shame, shame SHAME on all the crazy people that have made these people afraid to make a decent and well-intentioned suggestion to the lady that’s giving the show. Am I the only one who wishes that some people would get a clue about what actually constitutes sexual harassment?
There are tons of T-shirts out there designed for grandma and grandpa, even dad, so I say it’s about time mom gets her own T! Cute tangerine top says; “Live Love Laugh…every moment counts, especially those precious moments with the kiddos”. Bright and trendy, for a great casual look with jeans…or maybe one of those full skirts, and a jean jacket possibly, maybe some cute little some sandals and some bracelets, maybe lots of bracelets…hmmmnnn, I may have to get me one of these tees…
