One More Thing To Worry About…Methane Gas Detection
Just when I thought I had all the bases covered, now I hear we can become ill if our home or workplace is seeping methane gas. Apparently methane gas can enter a building via a crack in the foundation or sewer lines. Farmers may also be at risk from manure waste pits. Methane gas is also extremely flammable and has been known to cause explosions.
Early symptoms of methane gas exposure may include headaches and dizziness, advanced symptoms may include confusion, convulsions and unconsciousness. Luckily there are devices to help with methane gas detection and lots of websites where you can learn more.
Well, now that I’ve given you something new to worry about I think I will go outside and enjoy the beautiful sunshiny day! It’s a balmy 69 degrees outside!
