Rain, Rain Go Away!
Wow, it’s really flooded here, the fields on either side of Rt. 40 look like lakes…some of the little side roads are completely under water! There are two roads a couple of blocks from my house that are partially underwater too…luckily we live on a rather high hill. My fish pond is up so high I half expect to come home and find goldfish all over the lawn! The ground simply can’t absorb anymore water. Most annoying, our basement is leaking, and our rent house basement is leaking as well…We really don’t need any more rain!
Thought I’d stay in tonight and watch TV, but there’s nothing on except the same old election crap I watched this morning and last night, and yesterday morning. I’m so sick of it all I could throw up…they just keep replaying the same nonsense, like they’re hoping to hypnotize us all with their stupidity. I’m almost looking forward to getting back to the latest starlet’s drunk driving arrest or stint in drug rehab…
